Basics - Information about Bidet Toilet Seats

Bidet Toilet Seats attach to your existing toilets in the same manner as a regular toilet seat. The difference is that they also connect to the water supply and electricity in order to power features such as the warm water spray, warm seat, and warm air dry. Cleaning with water is more hygienic, more environmentally friendly, and easier than wiping with toilet paper.

Bidet Seats are easily controlled by either a remote control or attached side panel. By pressing the buttons on either, you can activate and turn off all the features. On some models, you can even program a "one-button" feature that does a full wash-dry cycle with the press of just one button. The sprays on all models can be adjusted and customized to guarantee a comfortable and effective wash for people of all shapes and sizes. Most models also feature self-cleaning nozzles to ensure the cleanest and freshest of washes for every use.

Cleansing with a bidet seat will leave you feeling cleaner and more refreshed than just using toilet paper. It's like taking a mini-shower every time you go! Regular users will use much less toilet paper which is better for the environment and pocketbook over time. Bidet seats are also extremely advantageous for those suffering from medical conditions such as ALS, Parkinson's, Crohn's Disease, and certain disabilities.

The installation process does not require a plumber and can usually be done in 15-20 minutes. The process includes taking off your existing toilet seat, mounting your new bidet seat, connecting it to water and electricity, and then using it! Besides connecting it to the same water supply line as your toilet, no additional plumbing is required.
